CONSTANTIA TOUR – WINE TASTING

Highlights include Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, wine tasting at Beau Constantia, Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Steenberg Wine Estate.
We start our tour with a 30 minute leisurely walk through the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, ranked among the best gardens in the world and an UNESCO World Heritage site. We leave for Groot Constantia where we will do our first wine tasting of the day. We visit Buitenverwachting (meaning “beyond expectation”) where we do our second tasting of the day. We could have lunch at this beautiful estate (renowned for their restaurant) or at the outstanding Steenberg (previously known as Swaaneweide) the oldest wine farm in the Constantia valley. We head back home via the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive to Hout Bay, Llundadno and Camps Bay.
