Wine Tasting – Experience the Best of Stellenbosch – Private Tour

We visit a selection of hand-picked wine estates in the Stellenbosch Wine Region where award winning wine will be sampled. We start our tour with a visit to the Gardens of Babylonstoren and from there visit four wine farms that will expose you to some of the best wine in the region. With the Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof and Franschhoek mountains as backdrop, Babylonstoren’s garden is majestic. Our visit includes a leisurely walk through the gardens while absorbing the beauty of the Cape Winelands.
We depart from Babylonstoren and do our first wine tasting of the day at Marianne Wine Estate. The unique experience will include a Biltong pairing with five carefully selected wines with three premium cuts of biltong. Biltong is a cured, dry meat often enjoyed as a snack by South Africans. Our second tasting will be at the renowned Kanonkop Wine Estate situated in the “red wine bowl” of South Africa. It has earned a reputation both at home and abroad as the area producing the best red wines in the country. We drive through the historic town of Stellenbosch and stop for lunch and a wine tasting at Hidden Valley Wine Estate. Our last tasting of the day will be at the Jordan Wine Estate.
